Sugar Cookie Show-and-Tell: They're always watching!
While going through pictures to upload to the blog from recent orders, I loved finding shots of some house cookies my daughter and her friends decorated while we were hosting a baby shower. I try and keep some blank, iced cookies and a supply of edible ink markers on hand to keep the littles busy during adult parties - thought it was cute that my own little grabbed my phone and took pictures of her creation. They are paying attention after all ;).

More baby shower sweets, these fun cookies and cupcakes in fall colors were done for a for a dear friend about to pop with a little girl. We did a "sprinkle" to celebrate her arrival, and loved having friends get together to celebrate the next generation of strong, wonderful women. Baby Shower cookies are some of my favorites, they are always cute and fun and I typically get to try something new when designing. This set was no exception, the host was very open to me trying a new technique of painting some cake topper cookies for a little girls baby shower . Love this new skill to add to my arsenal, especially the vintage look it gives! Also did some fun onesie favors with a sweet little vintage inspired bib. Welcome baby!

Sugar Cookie Show-and-Tell: Sew Cute!
There is a new little shop in Vienna called the Heartfelt Craft Shop - kids (and adults!) can learn to sew and craft and even hold parties. It's the kind of place I would have LOVED when I was a little girl, so I was thrilled to bake some sewing themed favors for a special little girl who was having her 8th birthday party at Heartfelt. I think they turned out pretty cute if I do say sew myself.
